Où est-ce que je devrais commencer? On est parti à neuf heures pour voir des sites de la Première Guerre Mondiale. Premièrement on est allés voir le cimetière américain de la Somme. C'est là où j'ai vu la tombe de mon autre soldat d'Oklahoma mort à Cantigny qui s'appelle Cecil C. Craig. Après avoir pris des photos de la belle chapelle, on a vu le mémorial aux soldats américains qui se sont battus avec les anglais contre les allemands avant 1917. Puis on est parti à Laon. On est allés à pied pour voir la cathédrale de Laon qui est la plus belle que j'aie vue. Les vitaux étaient très belles et j'ai vu qu'une des vitraux a raconté l'histoire de quand Jésus a lavé les pieds de ses disciples. Aussi j'ai reconnu qu'il y a des bœufs et des hippopotames et des rhinocéros sur la cathédrale. C'était beau et étrange. Puis on a vu les remparts de la ville médiévale. Après ça on a mangé à un restaurant en face de la cathédrale et on a mangé du dessert chez un ami de la famille d'accueil. Puis on est allés voir la Caverne du Dragon. On a vraiment vu le caverne et on en a marché tout autour. La guide a parlé très vite en français. :) C'était vraiment très intéressant. Puis on vu le château à Blérancourt où se trouve le musée de la coopération franco-américain. Puis on a vu un autre très beau château. Enfin on a vu la cathédrale de Noyon dédié à Jean Calvin. Après cette journée épuisante, on a mangé à un restaurant italien et on a vu un concert d'un groupe qui fait de la musique avec des choses très simples. Tout le monde aux états-unis me manque comme ma mère, mon père, ma sœur, mes amis Staci et Bree et Katie et tout le monde de mon église.

Where should I begin? We left at nine for some sites of the First World War. First we went to the American cemetary of the Somme. It's there that I saw the grave of my other Oklahoma soldier killed at Cantigny named Cecil C. Craig. After taking pictures of the beautiful chapel, we saw the memorial to the American soldiers who fought with the British against the Germans before 1917. Then we left for Laon. We went on foot to the cathedrale there which is the most beautiful I've seen. The windows were beautiful, and I saw that one of the windows was the story of when Jesus washed his disciple's feet. Also I saw that there were cows and hippopotamus and rhinoceres on the cathedrale. It was beautiful and strange. Then we saw the old fortifications of the medival city. After that we ate at un restaurant in front of the cathedrale and ate dessert at a friend of the host family's house. Then we went to see the Caverne du Dragon. We really saw the cavern and walked around it. The guide talked crazy fast in French. :) It was really interesting. Then we saw the castle at Blérancourt where the Museum of the Franco-American Cooperation is located(closed). Then we saw another beautiful castle. Then we finally saw the Cathedrale of Noyon dedicated to John Calvin. After this tiring day, we ate at an Italian restaurant and saw a concert of a group that makes music with really simple things. Everyone in the states I miss like my mom, my dad, my sister, my friends Staci and Bree and Katie, and everyone at my church.
